Kristin grew up in Mayer, Minnesota and studied Psychology at University of Northwestern. Outside of work, she likes to travel, check out new restaurants, and bike throughout Minneapolis. She is also trying her hand at refurbishing ugly furniture (though she has done more collecting of ugly furniture than actual refurnishing).
Kristin’s advice to incoming students is that learning isn’t bound to the classroom or Moodle. She would encourage students to build lasting relationships, set goals, and go after them. What students learn about themselves and other people through their life experiences can be more valuable than what is considered measurable learning.
